Runners, cyclist, dads w/wee's in Austin area

Hello,

I'm new to to forum, new to TX, new to the wee and would like to meet a few people with cross interest.

Anyone into riding the their wee out of town and then going for a run? Or having the wife's and kids (or not) meeting somewhere for a Mt bike ride / road ride?

If you don't share any of the above, please don't think that I am being rude. I'd just like to find some other dads to ride safely with - or at least to meet my wife so see doesn't keep saying, "you are the only idiot on a motorcycle who has school age kids."

Log on to Two Wheeled Texans (http://www.twtex.com/) - there are folks in your area. Also check on upcoming events, including the TAR (dual sport) ride at the end of April.

Oh, and it seems it is about time for our annual "V-Strom-Only BBQ ride", probably to Glen Rose. Watch for an announcement soon... :D

Hey Sanford1234 i live in Pflugerville, just bought my wee strom on thursday. I used to ride mountain bike quite a bit and still look forward to getting back with it. I have rode Rocky Ridge cycle park out past Bastrop, City park in Austin, Green Belt, Walnut etc... I guess the wife and kids might meet me with the mountain bikes but i doubt they would ride what i want / like to ride??? Strapping the mountain bike to the back of the wee and heading out to the trails on Hamilton Pool road might be fun afternoon??? What i am really looking forward to is heading out on vaction this summer to Colorado on the Wee Strom.
