I am looking for a place to do some trail riding in late March with my 15 yr old son. We are looking for some beginner type trails that could be done with a Suzuki DR200 dual sport and a TTR 125. We live in Michigan and are looking for better weather for riding over Easter break. Recommendations for camping or motel lodging near by would be appreciated. My wife is a quilter so anything nearby with folk art would get me in her graces. After all she let me buy three new bikes this year. The two mentioned above and a Wee. And she thought my gun collecting was expensive.

What part of the Southeast are you visiting?

Right now it is open. It depends on what we find as far as off road riding. His bike is a dirt bike (no lic. and he is only 15) so we cant do roads. I have a dual sport. Leaving the Wee at home on this trip. It looks like the Nat. Forests in TN dont open for riding until April. We are thinking maybe Mississippi. Holly Springs NF and elsewhere. Open for ideas. We are both new at this.
