This is a Summer Mesh Jacket, like the Firstgear Meshtex or JR Mesh Jacket.

These are on Sale or Closeout all over.. regularly 150.00 I just got mine for 59.00 :D

I LOVE the Jacket! It offers a LOT of Protection. CE Armor in the sleeves, elbows and shoulder, heavy back pad (Foam). Zippers and quality are great. I cant beleive it cost me 59.00 I feel like a thief.

Other mesh jackets are 100% Mesh. This one has a cordura (or something like it) front, back and sleeve tops. The Mesh is on the sides of the torso up to the armpits and down under the sleeves to the wrist... Air flows very well.

If you need an affordable summer jacket try to find one.

I tried on several brands, I think this one offers the greatest amount of protection and it is breezy too. Fit and finish is very good, high quality.

You know you need another one Speedstar. I have seen you in the same jacket twice, but never three times!! :D

I guess I am a clothes whore :wink: You can never have enough gear to go with your toys. :D

I just finished my first trip with my new jacket. I wore my other "warm" coat until noon, then switched to the Alpinestar...What a nice jacket at a great price! Thanks for the tip.

I ordered one that I never got due to back order...they have 3 in the system somewhere. Talked to Paul 6 times to no avail. They took my money back in early May but has not delivered. I keep getting the "run around"...never had this problem before and I do alot of shopping at the brick and mortor store here in Plano Texas...HELP!
