Nothin' new. Fella did the same to a XS 1100 back in the day and used it for playing in the desert. You young fellers are too easily impressed. How about solo to the Arctic ocean in the winter? Yep, already been done after the rider had returned from a quick jaunt to Tierra Del Fuego and before riding a Dnepr combination cross Canada from Vancouver to Toronto. Here's your homework. You tell me who it was. You might learn something about Adventure riding. BTW it was almost thirty years ago if you need a hint.

It was a post of humor ... but since we can't ever hope to be in your "league" of knowledge and ADV riding ... Ill go back to wrenching on my bike =) Cause its fun

Ah - humour, harharharhar! Actually it looks like a lot of fun and I'm just a dried up old fart. So, who rode solo to the Arctic Ocean the winter of ' 78 - ' 79? Tenting, by the way, and sleeping with his battery so it wouldn't freeze? That's right, he's a tough old bird.

Would that be one Danny Liska?

Nope. Not even close. Some clues. The gentleman is originally from England and has lived in Canada for many years.
