Has any V-Strom owner convert their front wheel from 19" to a 17"??

No ,but if you look close at a Katana 600 or 750 it looks like a bolt on including the fender.

If you amke it work I would like to know how, really would like to put some 100% street tires on my bike.

Don't have to change the wheel just to get 100% street tires. BT020's come in our size; and I'm running slightly oversize Metzeler ME880's (110/90HB-19 Front/ 160/70VB-17 Rear).
