Well, this is a wierd request. I am going on leave in Dec to visit family in ATL. My wife and I are taking the new kid home to show him off. I ride a 650everyday and whenever I go home am dying to go riding (mainly in the mtns). So, I was hoping someone in the area had a bike I could borrow, rent or something. None of my friends at home ride. I don't care if it is a ninja 250. I might have to break down and buy a beater to get around on. Any leads or helpful ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. Jeremiah

Try this: www.bnm.com/eagle.htm

All they rent are Harley's, but I bet you could use google and find some other places that rent bikes. For the price, I would get the Sportster and hit the mountains.

Vespa's would make a great tourer for the mountains here in NC:mrgreen:

Sounds like you have the fever. If you go 200 miles up to Knoxville you can rent an ST 1300 or Gold Wing from Eagle Riders. I rented an ST and had a blast last year. Otherwise you are probably on a Harley.

Yeah............mainly HD's around here or my neck of the woods.

I do know they are expecting some rain in the area so I don't think you will get in much pleasure riding during your visit.

Hey, I thought about a Harley. I might go that way. I would hate to rent a Harley and return the bike with no foot pegs:) I grew up in those mountains and have been all over the country and there no place like the those roads. I have the fever. Rain doesn't bother me, I live in Seattle now and road race in the rain, not as fun but still worth it! Thanks ya'll!
