This is great!
$25.00 from Pat Walsh Designs

The best $25.00 you can spend for your V-Strom. A very simple, but high quality plate that installs in less than a minute and allows you to mount a radar detector or anything else you need to mount. I plan on modifying it for my Garmin GPS V. It's very sturdy. Provides some shade for your gauges too.

Howboucha Brendan!

Will this handsome shelf fit my K4? I think I would like one for my combo voltmeter, thermometer, ice warning device and maybe a screw-on RAM mount base or two...

Thanks,

Jeff

The plate mounts between the plastic moldings. I know, "da", but it took a couple a minutes for me to figure out. The resulting gap between the plastic in minimal.

BTW, don't be suprised when the guy answers the phone from his pick-up truck. Also, he sent it out with an invoice, which i sent back with the check. I don't think he even asked for a visa #. Talk about trust...very cool. Doug.
