I rode an 07 and loved it. The Vee suits me for now plus it's nearly new :-)

The ST1300 bikes are nice but a bit pricey, for me. The 2008 ABS is 15,599 and 14,499 for the non-abs, at least $1,500 more than both the FRJ1300 and Concours 14.

From what I have been reading, some opinions consider the Concours 14 to be the best sports-tourer available. It will interesting to see if the 2008 sales hold up against the new competition. Also, cash is tightening up and a 20% decrease in sales is expected in 2008.

Just a fact of life I guess but it wouldn't take too long to recoup the extra cost of the ST for most people as I'm sure most insurance companies don't appreciate a sport tourer based on one of the fastest bikes out there.

Still, Concours has the Tetralever suspension, the tire pressure monitoring, and the pass key system.

It's the value leader at this point.
