I got the cases off of Ebay for about $80 each, and the SW Motech racks from from a guy on ADVrider for $175. The install was easy, just needed 6 nuts and bolts, some washers and spacers. The top case is bolted directly to the stock luggage rack.

Question....are the side cases attached permanently? I love the idea, but want to be able to take them off like regular cases.....thoughts?

The SW Motech cases use 1/4 turn fasteners, so yes... they are removable.

My cases are also removeable, I have also just recently added extra lighting to my lauggage during the non riding weeks.

Hope the link opens my crappy video of what I did. Extra signals, extra brake lights that then blink every 5 seconds 5 times when stopped.
