all I can say is WOW... I know you have all read this time and time again, but I thought I would offer my opinion anyway.
I honestly didnt think I would notice till I was two up loaded with gear, how holy $hit. Its like a different bike ( when in the hard turns ) So much more stable.... I love it... Worth every penny...

I was thinking of taking mine off for one ride just to see if it improved things as much as I thought when I first put it on, but since you reconfirmed it I won't bother. It's nice to take a chance on a farkle and have it work as advertized, eh (I speak Canadian)?

Yup - I just added one a few days ago on my DL-1000. Seems to really tighten up the front end - good farkle!! :D
Ordering was easy - delivery was fast - I'm happy.
Have a good weekend,

heh I was thinking about doing the same thing after about a month to see how much of it was mental, and how much it actually helped.... And yea "eh" is about as Canadian as it gets...
If I knew anything in Korean I would try... but I don't so I won't

I think this is a necessary mod for serious riders.

I'm a newbie here, so I can't comment on the fork brace. But, I did own a Concours a few bikes back and did quite a bit of business with Murph. I can't say enough good things about this guy.
If you decide to buy from Murph, don't hesitate to give him a call and talk to him directly. I decided to buy a trunk and mount right before leaving on a long trip a couple of years ago, so I called him and he bent over backwards to work with me so I could get it before leaving. He's a good guy.

How bout a ride report once you have put it thru the paces...
Cheers!
Ordered a fork brace for my Vee fron Murph last Friday and it arrived today. Install took all of 5 minutes. Every farkle should be this easy to install:)

I have a wee and a vee. I notice that when I take my hands of the bars there is a rapid left right oscillation of the bars on both bikes. Does the fork brace correct that? I've never had any bike be so unstable up front. With my hands on the bars you never feel the oscillation.

That went away on my Strom when I changed the brand of tires used.
Take care,

The oscillation just started appearing on my Wee, with the Murph's brace, now that my first Tourance front tire is nearing the end of its life, so it won't eliminate it completely. The tire has noticable dips in the tread, though. My brother's FJR shakes the bars at certain speeds much worse than my Wee, even with fresh tires, so it's not as bad as some bikes. I think the only way to really cure it on most machines is with a steering stabilizer.

I have to say that this is prolly my most recommended farkle, or maybe it's tied with the madstad bracket. At any rate, get one!

One good way to tell if a farkle is good? You wont find it in the For sale forum! LOL! The fork brace and Madstad are two items I have yet to see anyone selling used there!!! When I get a little bit of money, it will be my next farkle, thats for sure!

'd like to add my $.02 worth both as to Murph's customer service and product. I received my brace on Saturday the 13th. I excitedly opened the box and was horrified to see a brace for a 1000. I went back to my invoice and low and behold I had screwed up and accidentally ordered a brace for a 1000. It was Saturday afternoon and I was going out of town on Sunday for a week. I shot off an email to Murph explaining the problem and seeking his assistance. Within about 30 minutes he responded back and told me what my options were. Nice service!
When I got back into town on the 19th another package was waiting. The proper brace had arrived while I was gone. I opened the package and inspected the brace -- very good workmanship. I installed the brace Saturday according to the easy to understand instructions.
I rode to work this morning and noticed the improvement immediately. We get a lot of canyon winds in the morning so portions of my commute are windy. Rather than being squirrely as usual, this morning the bike's front end was rock solid.
I recommend this product without hesitation -- great customer service and a product that works!

How about somebody posting a picture of their brace installed. I and maybe others would like to see what it looks like and where it is installed on the forks.
