I used the Givi rack for most of the mounting points, except for one. That one is a small bracket I made from some 3/4" bar stock and bent to fit. It bolts to the rear fender. The end caps are different from any others I've seen and make for a real clean look. $15 total cost.

hmmm I don't think hes going to for the exhaust can look so much as its the perfect place for a tube like storage area. I think it would be difficult to fit a box in there.... :D

I have to agree. I've been daydreaming about a flat case suitable for carbine or takedown shotgun. But I just ordered Givi racks, and looking at these images suggests I'd better think again.
I'm eager to see what I can do with the Givi frames. I haven't yet ordered luggage for them, because I want to see what my options are after I bolt on the frames.

nvr2old - Can you provide details on the materials you used to make the storage tube?

Can a storage tube be installed if you don't have pannier mounting racks on your Wee?

Can a storage tube be installed if you don't have pannier mounting racks on your Wee?Sure. It's just so much easier to work out a mounting system with a rack there. Creating mounts to attach to the frame is more involved.

Easy. Find a Givi monokey box that is beat up or cracked, but where the mounting portion is undamaged. Cut the box apart to leave just the mounting portion of the box, and fasten that to your gun flatcase. Quick release flatcase. :)

Right now it has my rain suit because in the summer I ride with a mesh jacket and jeans(not very waterproof).

17" of 4" black drain pipe, 2 screw in end caps, 3 tubing clamps(5/8"), 6" of 1/8" X3/4" bar stock, and assorted screws w/lock nuts. All bought at Home Depot.

Pardon a dumb question, but what section did you get the tubing clamps in? I looked last time and were unable to find them.
Thanks,
Eric

Found them in a area that had lots of other nylon parts of assorted uses. They also had them at my local Ace hardware.
