I'm looking to find out if there is any pattern to body size or riding style that corresponds with handlebar comfort. For example, short, average height, or tall; thin, average, or heavier; aggressive/sport oriented or leasurely/touring oriented.

Could you please say which handlebars "fit" you, and describe your size and riding style? Also maybe mention if you had to change your handlebars because of a seat change.

There's got to be some kind of pattern.

5'10", 195 lBS.
Stock bars, 1.0" and 1.0" back.
Good comfort, can maintain an attack stance and stand on pegs comfortably. Good for long hauls with no upper back pains.

5'9", 31" inseam, stock seat

I just didn't like the sweep on the stock bars (made my right hand tingle/numb) and wanted something higher so I went with the very popular MSR Dominator ATV Hi bend. They about 1-2" wider and higher than stock and much straighter. The only downside to the change is that I'd like to get the bars closer to my body. With the added width, I sometimes find myself reaching for the bars a little and leaning a little forward which doesn't help back or butt comfort.

It's going to be tough finding a way to get the bars much closer to me without loosing or gaining height.

I've got a Sargent seat on order and I'm wondering what affect it will have on the bar position - good or bad.
