So is anyone interested in doing the Snowy Ride (details: http://www.snowyride.com.au/ ) in November?

I am already going and thought that it could be an opportunity for various members of this forum to have a Strom get together.

At this stage I haven't finalised my time lines but will likely be there for around a week as I have just been asked to help out at a race meeting at Phillip Island the weekend after the Snowy.

If we get some responses we may try to make it something more formal or planned.

Ow, my arm - stop twisting already - I'll go!!

I may not go for a whole week but a long weekend could be in order!!

I prefer planned to formal - it's tough to find an armoured tux . . .

Hi Graham, what are you planning in terms of bike changing? more dirt or more road?

I am with Dean, probably a long weekend will do with me... depending on my travel schedule in November.

After spending 4 years touring the Japanese Alps,Im very very interested.I havent been to the Snowy Mountains since I was a kid back in the 70s.

My work is busy at that time, but I may be able to sneek in an extended long weekend to join you guys for 4 days or a bit more.

I am thinking of adding a Yamaha FJR 1300 or the new Kawaski GTR 1400 , they are great bikes but $24,500 out the door ,they make the vstrom look REAL good .
