Hi all, especially to the stromptroopers around Sydney metropolitan area, as this thread is directed to them.
I normally ride on Sundays, for some time it's been on Fridays but that's changing and, especially now that I have started with light off road (but a big step for me) I'd rather don't ride solo.
Yesterday I decided to do the track that goes from Wentworth in the Blue Mountains to the MacMahons lookout.
It all started good but when I reached the mud and the sand I got really scared... but I continued to the end and back... all 52 km. without even adding scratches to the tank. But I had horrible visions of breaking a leg without mobile coverage, etc.
I would prefer to go with somebody, but I understand we cannot organize this every week, we are already on for Aug 12th (aren't we?) but I would like to know if somebody has similiar riding habits and would be interested in meeting in a more periodical basis than every other month.
During summer I leave at 6:30-7:30 in order to be back at 12:30 (family reasons) while winter is from 8:00-8:30 till 13:00.
We will exchange mobiles and e-mails and coordinate on Fridays or even on Saturday.
If there is anybody interested just drop me a line.
