Was at the end of ACH the other day and spotted these--

So I figured maybe they are going to fix it. Then today I went up again and it looks like they started:cool:

Stopped for some eats at the Grizzley Cafe in Wrightwood and they had a sign that said ACH might be open by May 08, keep your fingers crossed:mrgreen:

Sure, I will. We'll meet in La Canada. Stop at Newcombs Ranch, several butt breaks at scenic overlooks, and lunch in Wrightwood at the Grizzly Cafe. Then those that wish can return on ACH, others can go with me down Lone Pine Canyon Road to SR138 and the I-15.
However, don't hold your breath - talked to a bicyclist a couple weeks ago (they can still go across ACH) and he said there's a massive amount of work to be done. He tought a couple more years:( .

Went up today and the hole is filled in, all thats needed is the pavement. Not sure about the rest of the work or the progress, but at least this end is almost finished.

It's good to see progress Jerry but I thought that I heard that there' a section of road that they're going to have to build a bridge and they're still saying Juneish of 08. That might have come to me in an ACH dream though LOL
