CB Radio on DL650

I'm wondering if anyone has mounted a CB radio, specifically the J&M CB 2003 model, on their DL650. The reason I ask is because the group we ride with all have CB's, and we like to keep in communication. Besides, I can plug my XM radio into the unit and listen to my tunes while on the road. Thanx in advance for any good info about this.

Yes, I have the 2003 model on both my wife's and mine. It was pretty easy to install with some help from John of Char, but there are a couple of things you have to do to get it to mount on the left handlebar.

1. I had to replace the mirror with a different one.
2. I had to shim up the mount with washers.

The wiring was pretty easy and I had no problem with the antenna mount. We have xm radios that we feed into the J&M and they work fine.
