Me, Jack and Dan did Tripoli Rd. last fall on a tour of the area. It's OK and turns to dirt.

I can be there for 7, though I live relatively close (about an hour). I think the others who replied are more like 2 hours from there. I think a kickoff at 8:30 would give plenty of time.

THAT was a fun road. If I remember there's a blind drop followed by a sweeping turn, or is that another road ?

turns to dirt? I had assumed it might be dirt all the way like jefferson notch rd or sandwich notch rd, maybe it's not an adventure rd
sandwich notch road has a couple of short paved sections (steep hills subject to errosion) most of it is 2 tracks with a grassy center, at least it was 2 years ago when I was on it with my SV
an 8:30 start sounds goot, last ride I started at tilton diner, was earlier, but the destination was Tracy road

So what exactly are you thinking? I could hit most of NH from an 8:30 start time. Are you talking ADVENTURE (like sweat, mud, cursing in my helmet until my sheild fogs) or are you talking adventure (nice roads with unpaved travel ways mixed in)? I'm hoping the former. I'd really love to do a ride where it isn't guaranteed that I would/could make it to the end, or that sorta thing. If so,.... :p

I'm interested but have a lot going on in July, so the dates will matter.
I know I have a Friday-Monday canoe trip planned around 7/23.

I've decided on 7/15, I will post in new thread, it will be a mimimal state highway route, only short links to connect town maintained/unmaintained or forest service roads
As luck would have it, I'm working on the 15th so, I'll be unable to join you gentleman.

I'll show ya around town, Jack. I could maybe, just maybe come up with a route through some of my favorite southern NH spots (there'd be traffic, but still good). I could even look for a good camping place near a nice restaurant serving good ale.
