Bernie was out ridding with his ancient buddies on the local back roads, when a funeral train drove by on one of the intersections . As it passed, Bernie stopped and took his helmet off for a moment of respect, then put his helmet back on and resumed riding. His pal leaned over and said, "Gee, Bernie, that sure was a nice gesture".

Bernie replied, "Yeah, well, it's the least I could do after 49 years of marriage".
