Panama City, Panama Had the opportunity to take a two day riding excursion around Panama. We worked with Taso, the owner of ACS Motorcycle Tours. Because we only had two days Taso put together a great trip. First day we rode out and into the country side north and west of Panama City. Lot of twisties through the hills. Very nice, Stopped for lunch at a nice beach resort area with great views and equally good food. At the end of the day we stopped at a remote resort area for the night. Nice accommodations for being in the middle of no where. Next day it was back on the bikes and more riding through the country side. We went back toward Panama City and followed the Panama Canal route to the Gulf of Mexico side where stopped for lunch and then explored an old Spanish fort. We finished off the day with a briefed stop at one of the locks associated with the Panama Canal. Total riding distance was about 550 SM on KTM 640 Adventure bikes. The whole experience was very nice. Taso did a great job and was fun to ride with. I highly recommend this if you are planning a trip to this area. We are going to take another trip, probably the same one. He is also setting up a tour of Greece for this summer, I wish I had the time because it will be a lot of fun.
