Monterey Motorcycle Rentals Now Offering Streetbikes

May 23, 2007
From a Press Release
Gilroy, CA - Monterey Motorcycle Rentals announces the addition of street bikes to its off-road rental fleet.

The Bay Area's leader in off-road rentals since 2004, company founder Lee Block says "the addition of street bikes to our off-road fleet is due to the numerous requests for street bike rentals we've had over the past few years. As a start, we've added an FJR1300, V Strom 1000 and V Strom 650 as well as soon to be added DMV test bike".

Monterey Motorcycle Rentals has been renting Honda and Yamaha off-road bikes since 2004 and is located nearby the popular Hollister Hills SVRA. "Our off-road side of the business is fairly well established, and since we also rent full riding gear, this allows the average person the means to try off-road riding with no investment in gear or a bike".

Located 45 miles north of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and 35 miles south of San Jose, Monterey Motorcycle Rentals is now accepting reservations for those in need of a bike for MotoGP July 21-22.

Sweet! If I ever find myself vacationing in that part of town, that FJR is looking very JUCY! I think that will be the next bike in my stable once the Wee is paid off! I would love to give it a go before jumping in.

I know of a few BMW places in Cali that also rent stuff out, but mostly GS's.

My wife and I are supposed to be heading to southern California in September, but we'll be taking the car  I hope to find a place where I'll be able to rent a bike for a day or so, just so I can explore the coast a bit on two wheels. I'll be packing my riding gear just for that hope!

Take a look at Long Beach BMW if you will be in the LA/OC area. They rent 650GS's and some of the 1200's.
