new clutch lever ($24)
new gear leaver ($55)
new indicator ($45?)
bent bars ($85)
dinged right fairing ($$$)
level of being pissed off... unmeasureable!

replacing everything but the bars and fairing at this stage, so do we have any recomendation on some good bars??

Pro Taper bars seem to be a popular choice.

The first bike in row has some (the owner chromed the cross brace for "bling")

$24 for a clutch lever is a good price! I paid 20 to have a broken end welded back on! Bummer about the fairing tho!

Sorry to hear dude. :(

I dropped mine after about the same time in a carpark trying to move it while walking beside the bike and bike fell away from me  Fortunately the crash bars completely protected the bike, slight paint scuff on the Givi bars and passenger footpeg.

Did you have crash bars fitted?

Bugger, rich,
If it makes you feel any better:
I dropped mine on the first day I had it.....
Bought it home from the dealer on the trailer. Unloaded it no worries etc by myself.
Got dressed up, and rode up to my parents house, half an hour away. BIIIIIG smile on my face.
Showed them the new wheels. Parked on a slight lean, never bothered my CB250, but the wee wasn't happy to be straightened up, and the weight kept it moving slightly.
The problem was the ground was covered with small marble like stones, and my foot just kept going out, and the bike graciously fell over on its right hand side.
Broken bits and scratches for my efforts.
I wasn't worried at all, just had a laugh, and was over it.
Next $$$ went on a set of crash bars.
Cheers
Chris

Relax Dude and I'll tell you. It's a Bagster tank cover and I got it from BikeMart here in Melbourne (03-98795822). Thanks Bigstrom. De Nada Amigo....

Thanks, I'll give them a call! I'll be in Melbourne in about 11 days when we ride over there for the footy!

Excuse my ignorance but is the Vee's fuel tank the same size as the Wee's?
