I live in Katy also, off Mason road. Weekends I ride out West and make a 145 mile or so loop through Sealy, Cat Spring, Bernardo, Frailsburg, New Ulm, Bellville and back to Katy. Haven't made that outing in a while, so anyone interested drop me reply and let's make a plan.

have been out to alvin!!! i like to head out 517 to 35, then down to 1462 over to rosharon and down cow creek rd to 35 and back... LOVE that little loop... a bit of everything, a few twisties, nice fast straightaways, and very little traffic.

if you see someone on a flat black wee (usually with a guy on a v-star 1100 or another guy on a '70 triumph along), give a wave!

I live off of FM 529 between Barker Cypress and Fry in the Cypress/Katy area.

I ride the Katy HOV lane everyday.
