I'm in. The future looks bright for us local V-Strommers. We'll put together some awesome rides and adventures. I'm sure some new friendships will be formed as well.

If you are fun, upbeat, like to have a good time and live in the central NC area or anywhere within range, and can commit to a minimum of once of month meeting and ride (more than likely on a Saturday) then come join the fun.

Well, we have to keep out all the cruisers and other type bike riders who think that they can keep up with us Strom riders. First sign of dirt or gravel - there goes 50% of the motorcycle riding population, we'd loose the other 50% during the first sign of interstate riding! :)

But it really all comes down to what Fletch said; it is the company!

We need to be thinking about a June ride! I know Mark's headed to OBX during the first couple of weeks of June. Go to the club "group" site and post your ideas.

I'm taking the wife out (2 up) tomorrow afternoon for ride out on hwy 42. She's been buggin' me since the weather has warmed up!

Fletch, I tried to reshuffle some prior obligations to attend the Ride 4 Kids this weekend but just can't get out. I tried my friend. Gerard suggested a great idea for our June Ride and I'm gonna post it in another thread. But please suggest some rides for the other months as we have several open dates to fill, plus nothing is set in stone, if the group wants to change a destination for any particular month we can.

We ended up raising $98000 last Sunday at the Ride 4 Kids ride. Hate that you missed it. Ended up having around 525 bikes. I plan on riding up to Deals gap on Friday morning. I will try to catch up with you all then. Have a good one!

Check out our google groups website by visiting the link under my signature. We are new but growing (although we are not looking for high numbers, instead we are looking for good, fun people to ride with). A few of us took the V Strom rally trip together and had a great time and created some great memories. We have some fun rides and road trips in the works.

We have a meeting set up for next week (Friday June 1st). Just a get together for us members to hang out and talk about anything and everything to include upcoming rides and trips.

Never realized the number of V-Stroms on the road. Passing through Raliegh this morning on the way to Clayton, I saw 3 Stroms going west on 40 about 6:45 this morning. Anyone on the Frums?

You probally did not see me. I came in via Wade Ave cut off by the RBC Center around that time. If you were on 40 east I was about a mile away. So, thats around 5 on the road in this area.
