To all my west coast strommer. I have a friend that will be flying out to Fresno or LAX in late August to hike the High Sierra Trail. He is trying to work out the logistics of getting from the Airport to the trail area. My question, Is there an sports outfitter in this area or anyone who would be willing to pick my friend up from the airport and take him to the trailhead (Kings Canyon).
If this sounds unusual it is because we live in North Carolina where the Appalachian Trail cuts through. If you were hiking the App Trail, there are people, sports outfitters, App trail supporters that will come and pick you up from the trail and offer you lodging, drive you to the store for supplies, or give you general assistance while hiking.
Is there anyone in this area that does this?? If you have any contact numbers or website addresses of people or outfitters that may be willing to help just PM me. Thanks for the help!
