Had to see for myself what the end of the road looks like. About 5 miles west of Wrightwood is all she wrote, just enough room to walk around the gate but not enough to ride around or I would have:mrgreen:

Nice view! I myself have tried many times to go all the way to the end of ACH, but with no luck. I always turn back. Its a friggen LONG road!!!! I also noticed an extream LACK of construction vehicles out there, or any progress at all. ARG!!! One of the best motorcycle roads in California, and its closed!
