Can I subscribe to a Forum?

I'd like to subscribe to the For Sale Forum so I get an email every time a new thread is created in that forum. Is this possible?

If you open up the forum and go to forum tools on the right, just to the top of the first topic you can "subscribe to this forum"..

You can also subscribe to an RSS feed. Entire site or individual forums. For example, this forum is Stromtrooper Forum : Suzuki V-Strom Forums - Stromtrooper.com Support, Help and Information. Entire site is http://www.stromtrooper.com/external.php?type=RSS2. A lot less intrusive than email. If you don't already use an RSS reader, you can use something like Google Reader http://www.google.com/reader

This isn't working. I've even unsubscribed and then immediately subscribed again 3 different times to see if it would "re-set" itself. I've seen new threads started in the forum, yet I receive no email.

Maybe my email thinks it's spam and is rejecting it? What email address would it be coming from so I can add that to my safe senders list?

gmail, hotmail, yahoo and AOL all think this stuff is spam. It should be coming either from a stromtrooper address, motorcycle.com, or verticalscope.com, depends on how the site is set up. I will have to look it up for here.

Yes, I am using Yahoo. It must be rejecting the emails completely since they are not ending up in my spam folder. If you can tell me what address they would be coming from that would be great. I sure appreciate your help with this.

Thsi still doesn't work. I am subscribed to the "For Sale" forum but do not get an email when soemone creates a new thread. The email is not going to my spam, I'm just not getting any email. I have another forum that is set to do so and it works perfectly. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm experiencing the same issue. I use gmail and I have confirmed that I don't have any filters for any of the domains listed above. I don't get any emails for any of my subscriptions.

Does anyone have a solution?

I'm not sure what I did to correct this issue, but I am getting email notification for subscriptions now.
