AltRider's Hoh Rainforest Ride 2012

For those who don't know, the Hoh River valley on the west side of the Olympic Mountains in the Olympic National Forest is a temperate rain forest. It gets 12 to 14 feet of rain a year. The weather comes in from the Pacific Ocean, rises up the slope of the Olympic Mountains, and dumps the rain here. On a sunny day it is fantastic with huge trees (20+' diameter), mosses, ferns...spectacular.

Thanks!! She's a trooper. I'm still trying to convince the missus to let me take her on a ride if I make something to hold her. She rides on quads and snowmobiles all the time though and loves it!

Back on subject...
I talked to the missus last night and told her I am going to this next year. She gave me the go ahead to plan on it next year!

Sure thing fire away, they are very close to where I live so for once I have a ride I don't have to venture too far from home for once.

Last road trip took me to reno I was hurting after the 14th hour in the saddle... yeah i took the scenic non-interstate route ofcourse... on the way back yeah it was the slab as my legs were toast after that four day event.
