Felt like a flat tyre...

On a 60 mile ride in the country side, handling started to feel as if tyre was going down, stopped to check and found front axle pinch bolt hanging on by a thread, checked threads no sign of loctite, this would be one of the ones that should have it fitted. Out came toolkit to secure until I got home to apply some thread lock and torque the bolt down. Just a warning for others to check theirs is tight.

Might want to inform the dealer you bought from of this. Could have led to a very bad outcome. I would assume this is part of dealer set-up and they may, at the very least, provide you with an apology that includes a free service or discount on supplies/farkles.

I seem to recall another post that shared the discovery of a loose bolt on the fork trees shortly after taking delivery on a new bike (couldn't find the thread with a search, but I know I saw this on the forum). Good reminder to all of us to check critical bolts with some regularity...

Glad you're ok.

'specialy on new bikes.

However, I've never applied thread lock to the front axle pinch bolt.

Me neither. When installing, I just torque both alternately until even. Never had a failure yet.

I found mine backed half way out one day, early in the ownership of this bike. just happened to notice it as I walked toward the bike one afternoon.
