I took a little 310 mile round trip for lunch today. I've never had such a comfortable seat before. If there is any problem, it's that I wasn't changing leg positions or shaking my knees out like I have needed to do in the past and my legs did not respond well when I finally needed to put my feet down. I have to remember to do some leg exercises when riding.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014+ DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012+ DL650s

I still move around a bit on the RDL just because I'm stiff in all the wrong places.

I was about to ask where is a good place to be stiff. Then I remembered. I'm that old.

I'm still running the lower (20mm lower) OEM seat from the Suzuki dealership, I still need to get off and walk around after 1.5 hours. Beadrider will be my next attempted fix....

cheers,
Barney

cut the seat

I took someones advice on this thread. I took the cover off, cut down the foam until it was flat, then I covered it with an inch of memory foam. It's much better now. The hump in the center was a killer.

For the people with Corbins, I was wondering how your passengers do on it for extended periods?

i have no idea...my wife has not ridden it yet but the pillion part compared to stock is both wider and longer so it SHOULD be better.
