Simple 1" risers help a tall guy

Amazing what simple 1" risers will do for ride comfort for a 6'3" guy. Ebay special, not expensive and do the job.

Not just for tall fellas! I put on Tusk one inch risers and they provide a great amount of relief. Rerouting wires wasn't a consideration as well, highly recommended.

Best regards,

You might also consider a peg lowering kit. I've found it makes a big difference if you're ever up on the pegs, and cornering clearance has proved not to be a problem. Rick is a member here and has sort of a cottage industry on things to farkle your V-Strom. AdventureTech, LLC. - Home

Agreed wiring is fine.

I have several products from AdventureTech including the peg kit and I also agree with Brockie. High quality, fast shipping, money well spent!

Also another vote for peg lowering and bar risers. I did 1" up and 1" back plus the peg lowering. I can actually stand up on the pegs and not feel like I am balancing on top of the tank.

I don't mind the pegs where they are at but I love the 1" up 1" back risers I got off ebay. Makes the bike more comfortable.

Would be great if they did. Has anyone installed them without changing cables?
