Default Wee lifespan

Bought a used 06 Wee back in July and now have 14,000 miles on it. As it heads into the shop for a valve adjustment, I am curious about how long, with good care, can I expect the Wee to last?

I don't think it can be worn out! At least I have never heard of one being warn out. I had the great opportunity to ride one that had just over 150,000 miles on it. The owner was very proud of it and we switched bikes for a couple miles. I could tell it was differant than mine, but couldn't tell it was high mileage. He had no major issues with it while owning it. I can't remember if he bought it new or not.

Default I just bought a Wee

I just bought a Wee today. And one of my concerns, was that I might be giving up some longevity by buying a Wee over a Vee. But I've heard of SV owners going over 150K. So my thought was that, so long as I take care of it, and don't beat the living crap out of it, the bike will last longer than me.

They will last a L O N G time . How much maintance is another question ?

The wee engine should do 100,000 miles easy ,then you but a second hand engine an fit it between beers in the afternoon and you are right for anothe 100,000 miles
Suspesion like ALL bikes can be made better and more serviceable
Electric are fine
Chains, sprockets ,tires brake pads are all consumable on any bike so no difference with them. Fuel or more particularly the fine filter is a problem but it can be fixed cheep . This also applies to many fuel injected bikes.

This is abike I will be giving to my son in about 6 years when he is old enough.
