The biggest change (before 2012) was in 2007 when dual-plug heads were introduced. ABS became available at that time and the wheelbase was increased with that model year. There is some thought the 2007 was down slightly in power but 2008 was back to previous power levels. I think slightly more alternator output in 2008 as well. Most changes otherwise have been very minor until the 2012 came out.

Good luck with the wee search.

I found this one for $3K ,w/8K miles last February. It's a 2006. Rode it to Canada this summer. I was gonna sell it after that trip but decided to keep it cuz it's a helluva bike. I'm riding it to Death Valley next a month for the third time. Great bike!

Also, valve adjustment (not just check) and TB synch have been done, so you won't be facing either expensive (in shop) or time-consuming (by yourself) maintenance soon.

If you want to look at it give me a buzz at 621-0396.
Is this bike still for sale ? Would it be OK to call you ?

i bought my '07 last year with factory bags and 2K for $3800. buying in november had a lot to do with it, I suspect. don't be a afraid to put out a (low) standing offer at this time of year. might make the buyer AND seller happy!

My 07 ABS wee will likely be up for sale. It will have a new Ohlins shock, center stand, Madstad with CalSci shorty. and about 3500 miles on it.

I am very likely going to a Triumph Street Triple. I changed my job last month and I don't have the the same commute needs. I am going the hooligan bike route
