That is no Stock V-Strom seat, perhaps a Strom seat with seat concepts kit? If it is a V-Strom seat pan, then yes it should fit your Strom.

Hmmmmm yeah that is a Sargent but looks old as hell. I would pass, that all looks/sounds suspicious and that seat isn't in good shape at all. Be patient and you can find all sorts of seats here on the forum, they come up for sale all the time. My 2 cents but it's your money.

Yeah prob...

Got a guy visiting from UK coming in 2 weeks and he wants to ride/camp in Death Valley...The day's riding plus the 5 hour slab home already makes my tush sore!

So I panicked and bought it off the bay of fleas

Also ordered a madstad bracket/windshield

Oil chamge, food, water, rain suit, tent and sleeping bag will do it, eh?

finally rode with it today

Comfier. Less sore. Flatter. Better for tall guys to scoot back.

And omg riding position finally makes it "feel" like a "touring bike" (= upright)

Madstad next!!

Brilliant score - don't know how Sargent does it ....have what looks like a flat slab on my KLR ...but very comfy.
