Hey everyone, after some research, and a few delays I finally have a wee! I was originally shopping for a new one but financially had to go for a new to me wee. I'm very happy with it I got a great deal on a bike that was the color that I wanted too! Bike is in good shape mechanically from what I can tell. It is a 2007 and has 35k miles. Has newish tires, new brakes chain and sprockets look good.
I am planning on taking it in to have the valve check done mostly just for piece of mind, I am also going to replace all fluids, oil is already done, going to do coolant, and brake fluid next(probably going to have the shop do this too)
Is there anything else that I am missing? Looking in the manual it says to replace the fuel hose and brake hose every 4 years so I am thinking about doing that too.
I know its a little maintenance heavy but I am wanting to start fresh and know the history of the bike. I am having the shop do most of this stuff, I have never done my own maintenance before and I am planning on learning it all one step at a time but starting with a clean slate.
On another note I ordered a few mods to install today, this bike already had one of them the stebel nautilus horn! I'm going to install a pc8, brake light modulator, and some sort of power adapter for charging my phone, doing some research about where to mount it now, leaning towards the adventuretech mount but will probably be a bit before I get that.
I am planning on adding the givi bars as well as the enduroguardian skid plate down the road as well.
I am glad to have joined the club of wee owners and looking forward to learning more!
