After riding my bike yesterday with the pr3s installed my son decided to replace his worn out battleaxes on his ninja with pr3. My commute is >100 miles a day so my hope is these will last. I also plan on picking up something fairly aggressive for off road to swap out for back country trips next summer.

I got my PR3's last week, finally! Fronts were back ordered a few weeks and I almost couldn't wait anymore as my front Trailwing was almost gone after 13k miles. These new tires feel really grippy when compared to the TW's. Almost sportlike. Can't wait till the next rainstorm to see how they are wet.

I don't look for tires until I need them, so didn't know the PR's were up to "3". Thanks for the review.

If you like them in the dry you will love them in the wet

The PR3's are OK on a firm unpaved road, but certainly not the choice for anything deep. Excellent on wet pavement, maybe better in the wet than the excellent Bridgestone BT023.

I like mine a lot. The Trail rear corners like it is on a rail...feels great.

For an 80-20 tire, the Michelin Anakee2 gets my vote. Far superior to the Trailwing.
