So I verbally agreed to purchase a used 2012 vstrom 650 a couple of days ago. I have a kawasaki zx6 also in the shed.

But ever since I made the call to buy it, I am so besotted! Can't shake the smile off my face. Cant wait to bring it home. Couldnt sleep last night either!!

Its going to be such a change from riding a supersport. I am so gleeful. Just wanted to share.

It will be ready for pickup tomorrow and I can't wait.

I know how you feel. Since picking mine up just before Halloween, I've been looking forward to my off-days so I can take it out for a ride. I finally got past the 500 mile mark and have entered the realm of mileage degrading revs! Hm, I guess I'd better schedule my 600 mile maintenance...

I bought my 2012 used as well. Turns out the fellow traded it after ordering it sight unseen early this year. Took it home and realized he needed a milk crate to get off the bike, put about a 1000 kms on it and when he brought it in for its first service, traded it in on a Ducati sm that the dealer lowered for him. I am now the very happy owner of 2012 Vstrom 650 Adv with a full package for $9500.

A guy who was expecting his first child in 2 weeks time. said he needed funds to do renovations in the house. I got a decent bargain. It only has 6000 kms on it (roughly 3600 miles?) and had its service just done also.

I was supposed to pick it up today but finished work really late

Now it comes home on Saturday. Cant wait. Will post photos on this thread!
