Any easy way of disabling it? Like the over bright high beam light it is just distracting and of little use as I already know it's bloody freezing!!!

I have electrical tape on the high beam light, but the freeze warning light is under the glass of the rev counter. I'll give it a try though.

My old Wee doesn't warn me but my beemer does. The RID (Rider information display) flashes below 38 degrees and stays solid at 32 and then flashes again below 32.
It's very generous of the manufacture to tell you when to turn your Gerbing on. It's not a bad warning that the road surface might be getting exciting too!
