I paid 740. In hindsight I wish I would have waited. It's a nice slide-in for the purchase day... seems to make sense until you think about it (after you've signed on the line). See how the warranty service is during the covered year to determine if the extended warranty amounts to anything.

They are covered by two different outfits. The actual warranty is covered by American Suzuki Motor Corp. the Suzuki Extended Protection Plan comes from Cornerstone United, not Suzuki. These are who pays your dealer that does the repairs. Cornerstone and other outfits offer the tire & wheel plan, just another extra thing for the dealership to sell.

My 60 month additional policy (total of 72 months) cost me $500 at the dealer, and was put on my 0% loan. My dealer matched the E-Bay prices for the Suzuki factory warranty without any hassle. It IS transferrable, and helped a lot on trade-in on my Vee. I also used it once on that bike for a voltage regualtor that went out and it payed for itself, before they were recalled. Does it help on trade-in--yes, $100 a year is pretty cheap, price the labor rate at your dealer, would I pay more--no, these bikes are very good as far as reliabilty, but stuff does happen, especially on a new model, what if down the road the new digital dash goes out? I also bought it with my bike at dealer $500 and is Suzuki. If I break down anywhere while traveling in the next 5 years Suzuki will fix it. I probably would not have got it if I just stayed close to home but if I'm doing a lot of road trips it might be good thing. And is transferable.

Since this will be my one and only brandy new off the dealer floor I bought it. Covers 5 years worth of what if's and free towing if one of the one if's comes to pass. Works for me. That and the fact that the 5 bills would have been spent on something else by now.
