Just hit 9,000 so looks like we shall join the club just about New Year's (if the gringo interpretation of the Mayan calender be hoooie). A for sure 300 miles next weekend plus the usual 25 to work and back during the week. Truly a fan of the machine.

Bought my Wee Strom (SUZI) on July 25 and only up to 12 300 km so far. Then again, with two cars as well, it's hard to find the time to do some real distance.
However, the mechanic who did the 6000 service did the 12 000 service just over a fortnight later.

I have had no issues at all on mine so far. Oil changes and tires have been it. I really love ridng this bike! Fuel mileage is noticeably better than my 2006 was, performance is better and I don't feel any need to upgrade the suspension (even though I am fairly fat right now.)

Today I crossed the border to south Africa from Swaziland. Over an awsome mountain pass 80 km of rough tarrain it absalutly awsome ride.
48,000 km 06. 650
I came to get fork seals done as can't get in Sd
Just changed my tyres to hiedenhau they wonderful in the bush.
11,000 km fr my metzlers but they were stuffed
Tomorow new seals and a trip up the length of Kruger national park befor Xmas.
Nice. Anyone wanna come with.
