I would not bother with anything other than regular gas for my Strom, but I remember about 20 odd years ago putting premium gas in my 2 stroke RD400... it made a very noticeable increase in performance. After that, I thought about finding some avgas, probably a good thing I never found any.

I'm not bragging about my geezerhood, but do you remember this?

By the way, the toilet paper oil filter does make an effective bypass oil filter. It greatly extends the life of the oil and reduces the wear on the engine. They plug up every 3-4000 mile and need a replacement roll plus more oil, but they do work well.

The Suzuki owners manual is not specific enough on what type of gas octane to use..it states "Your motorcycle requires unleaded gasoline with a minimum pump octane of 87" This refers that any octane higher than 87 is OK to use in the bike. Suzuki does not say "use 87 octane only" at all? Since all is using 87 I think I should stick to it...

On a more serious note....i do get approx. 5-7 more MPG when i use ethanol free gas. Sad when the Govt. steps on my fuel like it's drugs!

I was presented with this dizzying array of fuel choices at a 7-11.

Good grief, just pick the lowest, cheapest one and you're all set.

I think they are hoping someone will be so confused, they'll pick a higher priced fuel than they need.
