You're playing with fire asking questions like that.

There's a big oil thread somewhere around here.

The only unassailably correct answer is: "key lime pie"

That's OK if you just want to putter around under 5-6K revs all the time. If you want to really fly but keep the engine smooth, cool running and high performing, two words: unicorn blood.

I think you will find that key lime pie and unicorn blood have proven to have basically the same lubricating properties when pitted head to head in a viscosity break-down test.... I give the nod however to the unicorn blood simply by it's key virture of low temp pumpability and just plain being easier to get into the crankcase....

We have two Honda Accord V6's with 135,000 miles on them. One has been run since new on dino oil, one on Mobil One.

...Stay tuned, no difference yet.

unicorn blood caused my engine to overheat and make strange noises after about an 1 hour of riding. I would suggest you try the key lime pie. Cherry Pie will give you an extra 3 hp though.

All oil discussions are to be held in http://www.stromtrooper.com/v-strom-...thread-57.html
Since little real substance on topic has been posted here, I'm closing this thread instead of merging it.
