No.

Judging by the two carbon vertical strips on the titanium version, it looks like the carbon version is just a basic layer on top.
The "carbon vertical strips" is not a part of the muffler but the clamp used to mount the muffler.

I've managed to score the titanium version locally at a reasonable price, did prefer carbon but non in stock, so just to confirm, the 2012 version should come with everything, no need for additional parts? I just want to take it home and install it and not find out that I have to go back to the shop because it's missing some additional part.

Hi, If your kit is complete in the sealed box from Akrapovic it should be complete and bolt on ready,

When I ship the Exhausts they come with your choice of Carbon or Titanium Canister and everything you need to bolt it on and ride,

Hi, Have you contacted Akrapovic USA? I believe they quoted 4 - 6 weeks on receipt of claim to order in parts and ship to you,

The individual parts come in from Europe,

They told me 2-3 weeks to get it from Europe and whatever time to ship it to me. That was on the 7th of November.

Give them a call in the morning, Its not likely that they would hold back shipping to you once it arrives,

Some of my other customers received special order Akrapovic Parts today; You are probably not far behind, Those kind of parts are likely to ship together in batches.

The really good news is that they are providing you replacement without you having bear the cost of shipping your parts in first which is actually the industry standard. I am very impressed with Akrapovic and their resolution procedures,

Anyone know off hand the db levels (idle & certain revs) between the stock and the Akra exhaust?

* Nooo, got home with the kit, have to wait till tomorrow now, have no socket extension! Do you really need a torque wrench?
