I had the "clunk" every time I turned into the company parking lot at work. I quit and I haven't had it since.

A good way to solve the problem but most riders can't afford your solution.

My K6 Wee had the fork klunk whenever the forks came off a bump and reached thier fullest extension. Cured that when I changed the fork oil to 10 wt Honda fork oil. A more annoying clunk started several years later and that turned out to be the front bolt mounting the fuel tank had lost the acorn nut and the tank was bouncing up and down causing the klunking. Free fix! Dealer gave me a new acorn nut!
