Hey everyone...
Just did some front end work on my '11 Wee, new race-tech springs, fork gaiters and a new Heidenau K60 front tire. Cleaned everything up, got it all back together, torqued everything back to spec, and now have some front brake noise. Before the teardown there was some metallic, high pitched squealing which appears to be gone now, but there is a low speed, intermittent, rotational noise when the front brakes are applied. It's very low toned and creates vibration right up through the bars. What did I do??? Did I miss a step to align this thing on reassembly? Should I maybe try scuffing the pads and scotch-bright the rotor? Thanks...

You sure it's not a wheel bearing? A low-pitched growl under braking would suggest that as weight is transferred to the front wheel.

Thanks Mike,
Took some time today, found a video on the Galfer website. I used their method to align the front end after removing the calipers and all is well again. The service manual doesn't outline the specific order to tighten the components to bring everything back in line. While I had everything apart I did a thorough cleaning of the caliper pistons and pins. I scuffed the pads and took some scotchbright to the rotors. Whatever it was is fixed. Thanks for responding.

I'm about to change my front pads again, and I'd love to see whatever I can before I do it.
