I ahve seen the single led volt meter that changes color, I see them on ebay but they have to come from the United Kingdom, are these volt meters available here in the states.

I have this one. I think I bought it where I bought the Mosfet R/R ( that I didn't use...). These work great because they are also a warning light in addition to a true voltmeter ( the led changes color and flash rates as voltage varies, you cannot miss the flashing red when voltage is low ). That said, if you don't wire it directly to a circuit with a relay and instead just tap into a switched "hot" wire in the fairing you might not see the "green" light but will see the amber for marginal voltage. There is just too much voltage drop thru all the circuits and switches up there. It is that sensitive....
