For a 2012 center stand its 180 but if you look at the 2011/previous version it's 220-230. I went to 6 different sites and this same trickery happened on all.

I'd go ahead and pop for a new one, look what you'll save on the stand!

I have the SW Motech and I'm pleased with it. Only problem has been that it needed addition lubrication earlier this year when I noticed it wasn't springing up fully. Bought it last year and to the best of my recollection I paid something in the region of $180 for it, about the same as they are charging for the 2012 version. Why the 2011 version suddenly costs an extra $40 I have no idea. Seems like a bit of a rip off. Can't be exchange rates since the Dollar has strengthened against the Euro by about 10% since I bought mine, so a German manufacturer would be getting 10% more Euros for the same Dollar price.

I put the Murphs on mine last week. Went on easy and works good. Price was really good too.

Just bought the Murph center stand for the dl 1000. It looked as if I did not get the right bolt set up after looking at what you get with the stand. However it looks as if on the 1000 two 10mm bolts are used and one 8mm on the left. Didnt look at the right side but it appears I'm having an issue getting two of the bolts in. One 10 mm turns fine but it feels as if the other 8 and 10mm bolts is not screwing in as easy and stops and feels as if I will need a air socket to get them in.n anyone else have same problem?

I just ordered an sw motech centerstand for my '11 for 170.00 from twisted throttle. Someone posted a weekend sale link the other day and I went for it.

I put the stock stand on when the bike was new use it often and never had a problem. I don't find it hard to use and install was easy, I think there are a couple of threads showing easy ways to install the springs
