I finally received my used set of crash bars and skid plate. Greywolf was kind enough to supply me with instructions on the crash bars. They were easy and are on now. There are no instructions for the skidplate and alot of different bolts, washers, rubber grommets, and a couple weird shaped things that look like the screws slide through them (maybe for the front attachment?) Does anyone have their directions they can post, or take pictures of the mounting points, so I have an idea of how this thing attaches. If I had directions, I am sure it would not be too hard, but without them I have no idea. I am in the middle of this project, so if anyone can help asap, you would be the

Be aware the torque specs for the mounting bolts in the Suzuki manual are wrong. The 8mm mounting bolts should be set to 23Nm or 16.5lb-ft.

As always, thank you Greywolf. Heffy, I may need to check out your skid plate, etc. This weekend may be a good opportunity with a little warmth coming in

Ok, I changed the original post, so if you can re-read it and help me out, I sure could use it. Crash bars are on, now waiting for help on here so I can get that skid plate on.
Oh, and I have the OEM factory center stand, if that makes a difference?

UPDATE: I looked at some pics around the site, and I could see basic things. I realized that I didnt have the back mounting plate. The box everything came in was crazy full of foam peanuts. I dug through and thought, knowing my luck, something is probably lost in the sea of foam. So I neatly set it in the trash bin. Pulled it out just now and started going through it, and finally found that piece. Now I sat down and looked around the bike and the hardware, and its starting to make sense. I think I have it ready to go now. Feel welcome to post pics of your mounting points on the skidplate itself, but I think I'm good to go now

If you are still looking for the SW Motech skid plate instructions: http://static.twisted-throttle.net/m...96_10001_s.pdf
The oem centerstand posed no problems when I installed the SW Motech skid plate.

Man, I wish I would have had that last night.....lol. Hopefully this post will help someone else in the future. Looking at the picture, I installed it perfectly. Considering it was just a zip-lock bag full of bolts, washers, grommets, etc, Im happy I figured it out without any assistance. PITA, though. Its funny how decent instructions can make a job so easy, that otherwise is would be a pain.

I just installed the crash bars and skid plate. The instructions are not very good, but I think I still have them. PM me and I will give you my phone number, if you still need the help.
