Does anyone know if the Monokey series hardware (racks) for the top case are a stand alone rack or does it attach to the stock rack - top case I mean.
Not sure if I'm explaining this well. My Wee has the basic Suzi top and side cases, the rack are obviously designed for these cases. I would like to remove all the hardware but don't have the original hardware that a basic stock bike would come with - so no holy**it bar for the passenger. Do I need that for to install the monokey rack for the top case? |

I have used the universal E250 Monokey mounting plate with good success in other applications. This should mount to the Suzuki OEM top bag bracket. Or, you will need to find the OEM grab rail and parcel bracket to replace the OEM bag bracket.

For pre-2012 V-Stroms Givi Monokey topcases can use the E528 mounting plate which mounts to the stock rear rack (after you removed the pad). The universal Givi Monokey topcase mounting plate mounts to the stock rack too. They are very similar, just how they attach to the stock rear rack is different.
The 2012 are similar, I believe, but I have no experience and the Givi mounting plate model numbers appear to be different. Check out Motorcycle Cases, Hardbags, Side Hardbags, Motorcycle Soft luggage, Tank bags, Spoiler Hope that helps.
