I really feel like a goose, when I first bought my bike was the last time I had my bike on the stand. I've since had it lowered (I'm only 5'5") and recently went to put it up on the center stand and couldn't manage it.
After a couple of tries, Hubby and I remembered about the bike being lowered. Do I need to have my existing stand altered or can I purchase one that will fit a lowered wee?

Get it up up on the stand(hubbys help?). Figure out how much it needs shortened and then take it to a weld shop. There are no stands that I'm aware of that are for lowered bikes.

Lowering the bike alters the pivot point of the centre stand,I have a Hepco Becker stand(,bike lowered 30mm) and find that if I run the rear wheel up on to a plank 15-20mm thick, will reduce the effort required to lift the bike, takes a bit of practice at first but you soon develop the technique,(tip) keep the side stand down in case you lose the balance

I lowered my bike and I have a Krauser center stand on it.
just I step with my right feet on the leverīs stand , all my weight on it, right hand on the bike pulling upwards and left hand on handlebar..... it works |
