Another member has been kind enough to offer me a set of givi racks.
He bought these for his dl1000 and they didn't fit he assumes they are for the dl650.

Can you guys confirm that these are the pl532 racks? Is there anyway to know for sure?

The rear cross bar and how it attaches is different on what you have there compared to the givi racks I just sold off of my 650...Givi might have changed design, but I'm not sure

The crossbar looks like the one I had on my 2005. The pictures really don't provide enough information. If the racks were for a V-Strom and don't fit the Vee, chances are they are for the Wee. The only way to tell for sure if they don't have mounting instructions or other papers showing their application is to try them.

I am the owner of these racks that Domromer passed on. I think the picture above clearly shows that they are for a 650. They were so close to fitting on my 1000 as they bolted up on top which is the same on both bikes and makes them specific to the vstrom and not some other type of bike of bike such as honda, kawi etc. They would not line up at the passenger footpeg on the 1000, but with a slight bend or add bracket would work.

The racks have sold and fit the DL650 perfect.
